it happens once a year,

it’s a day to celebrate,

remember to smile and cheer!

Will you start a new mystery?

Reading is not a want, but a need!

Today is part of history!

But reading is not all,

writing is important too!

Will you write something?

Could it be about a pirate, a crab or even a cockatoo?

Today is World Book Day,

a day for everyone,
